Abstract
This paper details the findings of a survey carried out in response to the notification of an artifact by a local resident at the Passo di Giacobbe archaeological site (Ginosa). The initial analysis of a ceramic fragment of Etruscan bucchero production reveals a notable presence of such artifacts in Southern Peucetia, indicating a broader system of trade relations than previously assumed, thus necessitating a re-evaluation of the understanding of Peucetian cultural, social, and economic dynamics.
