Abstract
This paper proposes a methodology for constructing medical expert systems based on artificial intelligence methods and a decision tree to ensure the treatment and diagnostic process of epilepsy in children. The main characteristics of electroencephalography are determined and an algorithm for processing and analyzing medical data is proposed, which makes it possible to determine the type of epilepsy in children. The proposed methodological, algorithmic and software for determining epilepsy in children determines the type of disease with high reliability and efficiency.
